What’s this event all about?
During this event, we shall highlight practical steps to identifying and addressing microaggression, stereotypes and resolving intercultural conflicts.
Microaggression in form implicit bias and aversive racism is argued to have significantly more influence on racial anger, frustration, wellbeing, and self-esteem than traditional overt forms of racism and discrimination. But then how has this come to being and what are the factors that contribute to this change over the last decade?
I use real-life examples to understand microaggression as part of our modern societies, facilitate self-reflection and provide coping or response strategy to implicit bias and aversive racism.
