What You'll do

What’s this event all about?

Our whisky tastings are always blind tastings. You find out what you have in your glass after tasting the respective whisky. Before that we tell you a lot about storage, cask types and production of the whisky. We will taste 8 whiskies (2cl each) from 4 different countries and we guarantee some surprises how fantastic whiskies can be even though they are not from Ireland or Scotland.

​Of course we also talk about the history of whisky. The online tasting for whisky is suitable for beginners and advanced whisky fans or those who want to become one. Cheers!

Who can take this class?

The tasting is for those who are in the mood for good whisky. Whether beginner or expert, everyone is welcome here.

Why should we take this class?

Because you will enjoy whisky, have fun and learn about whisky.

How is the event structured?

We will make it easy and don't wait too long for the first taste. I will explain about the Whisky during the tasting. That doesn't mean, you can not try before you have all the knowledge ;-)

Hi,

I am Sascha, a fan of spirits and founder of the delicatessen store Heimathaven. It all started with a passion for gin and the desire to try everything. Through contacts to numerous liquor dealers and the visit of probably every liquor fair in the northwest, I also developed a great passion for whisky and rum. Since 2015 I have been passing on my spirits know-how to thirsty guests at full-length events and celebrating the international art of distilling.​
