What You'll do

What’s this event all about?

Are you looking for an event that leaves all participants inspired as well as motivated to think bigger and tackle new challenges? Ashton Kutcher said about me „He is changing the world one mile at a time“, Joko Winterscheidt quoted „In a world where most people only talk, he just started doing“ and Forbes stated „He had a really extraordinary idea and started doing immediately“.

In September 2018, my best friend and I started a 15.000 kilometre cycling trip from Berlin to Beijing for charity - the crazy thing: we had never cycled more than 10 kilometres before. With this project „Biking Borders“ we wanted to raise funds for an entire primary school in Guatemala (where we did our exchange semester) by sharing our entire journey via Social Media. In total, we cycled through 20 countries including Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and China, and raised enough money to even build 2 primary schools. The journey got featured in media all around the world and since I am back home I love to share what we have experienced along the way.

Who can take this class?

Everybody. I have spoken at Corporate Events ranging from Coca Cola, About You, OMR and Handelsblatt as well as in smaller, more private settings. I always love to see people getting excited about the stories from people and places all around the world.

Why should we take this class?

It will be a once-in-a-lifetime-experience where I tell you both, heartwarming as all we scary stories from all around the world. You will hear about how we almost got attacked by brown bears at the border of Croatia, how we crossed areas filled with land mines in Bosnia, the time we had to cycle through -28 degrees and 2 metres high snow in Turkey, how we got inspected by secret agents in Turkmenistan or how we lost orientation in the Iranian desert.

You will see photo and video material that leaves you speechless, makes your eyes shine and your heart laugh.

nono konopka

Hey, nice to meet you - I am Nono and I love inspiring and motivating people by giving speeches or sharing stories.

After I finished university, I cycled 15.000 kilometres around the world for the non-profit organisation „Biking Borders“ that I initiated. Since then, a lot has happened: I regularly speak at huge international events such as TEDx as a motivational expert and have produced a documentary about our journey as well as a book which will be published in 2021.

My goal is always to share what I have learned from this journey with words, pictures and videos to show you that everything is possible if you only believe in it.

If you want to see a video of me speaking before you book, see here:
